You are warmly invited to join us this Saturday 20th, at 6:30 PM at @atelier_academy for the opening of TRILOGY, a one-week photography exhibition by @umuntuu
Hakim Rachid is a Rwandan photographer, best known for expressing sensitive subjects and stories such as body positivity and humility through photography.
Now, « The Trilogy » highlights three series – Walking in Black, Beauty Redefined, and Female Lines – presenting Hakim Rachid’s work rating from late 2022.
« When shooting the ‘Walking in Black series’, I used to take a day and shoot different things that caught my attention. The artwork in this series was taken in black and white. I wanted to portray the beauty of women contrary to body shaming that affects women, to showcase the beauty of the difference in forms » ~ @hakim.xo via @thenewtimesrwanda
