“SOCIAL POWER” Visual Art Exhibition
An exhibition of twelve masterpieces created by Emmanuel MUTUYIMANA, portraying various influences of social power. Inspired by people, nature and places, these pieces tackle “togetherness” rooted from our families, backgrounds and inspirations.
About the Artist
@emma_nueljuly345 is one of the protagonists of abstract drip painting generation of Rwandan expressionist artists. His works are mostly figurative and abstract pieces created in his own distinct style, blending brush stroking and drip painting. He draws his inspiration from the stained-glass art found in churches, especially when it comes to their powerful use of thematic compositions and color combinations. Through his science classes, he also developed a particular fascination for looking at things through a microscope, which would shape his art themes and styles for years to come.
