In recent years, Finland and Rwanda have developed a robust partnership characterized by dynamic exchanges and collaborative efforts across various sectors. Following successful initiatives like the Rwandan delegation’s visit to Finland in October 2021 and the Rwanda Business Forum held in Finland in September 2023, the Embassy of the Republic of Rwanda to the Nordic Countries in collaboration with Rwanda Develpment Board (RDB), Rwandan Ministry of Education(MINEDUC), Rwanda Convention Bureau (RCB), National Agricultural Export Development Board (NAEB), Rwanda Finance Limited (RFL), Private Sector Federation (PSF), Rwandan and Finnish Universities and other educational institutions, Embassy of the Republic of Rwanda to the Nordic Countries and Finland’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs – Africa Department and Finnish Ambassador to Rwanda, REMODE and including us here at Hills Connect are delighted to announce the Finland-Rwanda Forum in Rwanda scheduled for April 3-5, 2025, in Kigali, Rwanda.

This forum aims to further strengthen the bilateral ties and foster sustainable development, innovation, and economic growth between Finland and Rwanda. Additionally, the forum will emphasize Rwanda’s strategic role as a gateway to East Africa and the importance of sectors such as digital infrastructure, finance and education in enabling economic growth and regional integration. Some of the forums objectives are to facilitate strategic partnerships, to promote trade and investment as well as to encourage knowledge sharing, collaboration and cultural exchange between Rwanda and Finland.
