The KIMFEST 2022 is a forum and a multicultural platform that brings people together to celebrate and share our different traditions, beliefs and cultural backgrounds through arts and creativity. Our event aims to provide opportunities for our community, experts, and guests who live and work in Rwanda to experience cultural events. It is scheduled to take place on 5th August 2022 at the ONOMO hotel in Kigali.
Our event aims to provide opportunities for our community, experts, and guests who live and work in Rwanda to experience cultural events. Also, for them to have a unique experience from our intercultural exchange events and two days exhibition of Made in Rwanda products and other parts of the world. This year’s edition, together with our sponsors and partners. We will hand over 25 fashion awards to different sectors in the arts and creatives industry in Rwanda, for the best fashionable individuals, local artists, DJs and many more from our 100 nominees.
More than 300 members and invitees are expected to attend the event. This includes the international community members who live and work in Rwanda, private companies, NGOs, diplomats from embassies based in Kigali, international students based in Kigali, local fashion designers and top Rwandan celebrities who have been invited to celebrate their culture through fashion shows, dance, and music. The event is organized by Karisimbi Events in partnership with the Rwanda Cultural Fashion Show (RCFS), ONOMO HOTEL , Sponsors and Local Businesses.
