“Beyond the Genocide” by Zion Sulaiman Mukasa is a documentary that delves into the lasting impact of the 1994 Genocide Against the Tutsi on the Rwandan community, focusing on stories of resilience, forgiveness, and unity.

During #Kwibuka31, our twice-monthly screenings of contemporary German films will take on a new form as we commemorate to honor the victims of the Genocide against the Tutsi. The film will be screened in Kinyarwanda with English subtitles.

The screening will take place at Goethe-Institut on April 15th followed by a panel discussion.
