❓Beata Umubyeyi Mairesse is a French-Rwandan author born in Butare and arrived in France in 1994.
📚 His first novel, “Tous tes enfants dispersés, received the Prix des cinq continents de la Francophonie, and “Consolée,” his second book, received, the Kourouma Prize. She also writes poetry and short stories.
🥇His latest book, The Convoy,” has just been published. She tells how she survived the genocide perpetrated against the Tutsis. It was awarded the 2024 France Télévisions Essay Prize.
