AFRICA IS ME

AFRICAN IS ME is a collective art exhibition displaying multiple artworks from Rwandan born visual artists David Mugire Peace and Bless aine jovial.

AFRICAN IS ME is a series of artworks aimed at reminding African people and humans in general about the brightest intellect, natural ability and intelligence which they hold and can be utilized to solve some challenges and obstacles they face as a continent.

AFRICAN IS ME is also a representation of beauty ,culture, nature and historical backgrounds of Africans through visual art. “Looking forward and finding yourself surrounded by that dark chocolate golden skin and you say you are blessed, as you should. Africa is the place I was born. I would like to explain a little about it because there is so much we can’t fit on a piece of paper. The loyalty amongst its people is breathtaking. The love we can’t put in words and not to mention the amazing culture. It is the best piece of art no artist can compose. The power within us is strong and immaculate. The creations and the development every single second is just awesome. And don’t forget about the hospitality, when you arrive you may even forget that you have to leave because of how we make you feel at home”.
