East Africa International Arbitration Conference (EAIAC 2022) returns to a physical venue at the Serena Hotel, Kigali-Rwanda on 16th & 17thJune 2022.
Hosted along the fringes of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) 2022, the 9th edition EAIAC will present a content rich program delving into topical issues ranging from trends in government related arbitration in Africa, lessons in contracting and arbitration from global uncertainty and the pandemic, sustainability and environmental concerns in Arbitration, as well as Africa’s place in the progress of arbitration practice.
Under the theme: Resettling for a New Age of International Arbitration in Africa: Climate Change, Global Partnerships & Sustainable Development, the program has been carefully prepared and will draw on the current global issues to explore opportunities for the practice to evolve, adapt and progress.
